In his after match summary Parker complained the the home supporters were too critical of the teams performance at half time by booing. After our pitiful performance up to half time he needed to expect that he had again got it all wrong and the supporters had every right to show their disgust at him and his team selection, after all they had paid good money to watch this game.
To be honest I dont't know whether the game was ruined by Parker or VAR as neither seem fit for purpose.
I honestly think we should sack Parker and just let the players sort it out amongst themselves, I am sure they could set the team up better.
Playing a flat back 5 at home when you need a win ( like we did 1st half) is the tactics of a bloody simpleton
Being outside the UK I am able to watch our matches live on Sky. One trait I have noticed and it was commented on by Chris Owelemo is that when Burnley were in possession, the Burnley player was often surrounded by 3 Brentford players, making retaining possession very difficult. A good form of defence. That has been the case in several matches.
When the opposition is in possession we drop back into shape, allowing the opposition the freedom of the pitch, allowing them to build organised attacks unchallenged. One Burnley player may go to the opponent but is easily beaten or passed around.
The ? come and break us down ? approach may work at Championship level, but teams in the PL have the skill and quality to break us down. Hence the results.

I see that SP has criticised the fans for booing at half time. I am not sure if he realises that the booing is about him, his staff, his tactics and his team selection. Chris Iwelumo commented on SP being too defensive.
The second half demonstrated that the players can give it a go, if allowed to or ignore his instructions.
What I have noticed as well is sP’s lack of emotion and involvement. Arteta, Guardiola and the like celebrate enthusiastically when their team scores, SP just sits in his seat half the time. No positive reaction.
Scott Parker does not appear to realise that you cannot win a game by defending, the best outcome is a goal-less draw.
With our current position we require points not a concern about goal differance.
Should our approach now be an attacking format, I would soooner we won 5-4 rather than lose 1-0.
Scott please take the shackles off and lets try to get some points on the board or better still step down and take all the so called coaching staff with you.

I ve lost all faith in him and his approach to football tbh ,
I can?t reason how we play the game and he gets away with it week in week out ( Saturday was the first time we showed some *******s and had a go - tragically it probably saved the managers job.
