Well we are nearly at the end for another season. Didn't it feel good not to see our team involved in the play offs...hurrah!

Onto the business end then and the final Joker was played. The all out attack from across the pond as predicted never materialised though XD

Weekly winner(s): CAMiller played the final Joker and it bailed him out. Like LolMorgan last week he scored 6 points, doubled up to 12 and with the extra 5 bonus points cops for 17 in total. Well done. The normal weekly winner would have been Millerstime with 9 points had CAM not played his Joker.

Goal Tally: A very poor 19 goals were scored so no winners. The closest was Millerstime again with his 18 goals, unlucky pal

Wooden Spoon(s): The King of Spoons, ELK, claims one again along with HK Miller as they only scored 1 point each. You were due one ELK to keep that collection growing XD ;D

Two weekends to go and it will be all over. Will LeedsMiller claim the title? He is in a very commanding position with an 11 point gap with the rest snapping at his heels. All Jokers played so I don't expect a big mover unless someone does a 'Grist' and bags a perfect 10/10 then they would really fly up the table! It's still possible so who knows? :rolleyes:

Bad weekend results for me, looking at the scores during the afternoon, I thought a
wooden spoon coming my way, only hope was the goals scored, which didn't happen.

Yes pal you made a very good go of it. Look to bring this in to your pre season training in readiness for next season.

Those 10 fixtures were spread over 5 days and finally they are over.....phew! Thankfully the last set of fixtures of the season, are all on the same day and all kick off at the same time.

It was touch and go for a lot of us both with points and the goal bonus. Who'd have thought Ars.enal would have played as bad as that, anyway thanks for losing 2-0 ;D

Weekly winner(s): This was down to two of us, Adventus2012 who had Newcastle and I had Ars.enal. I lost he won so well done and he takes the 5 bonus points for scoring 13 normal points plus the extra 5 giving him a boost up the table.

Goal Tally: Thanks to Newcastle scoring 2 with no reply, both Clarkey and myself predicted in the end 27 goals would be scored so we bag the extra 5 points on this one.

Wooden Spoon(s): Roly and Grumps are this weeks spoon takers for their score of 2 points, hard luck chaps.

Well that was a game changer. It's never over til the final results are in and when your luck is in.....it makes you smile :). Once again I have Newcastle to thank for that 2 goal win as I finished on 17 points and this has allowed me to dethrone LeedsMiller with only one set of fixtures to go. This is probably the closest decider yet to a season. ThaiMiller is still making a go of it with Millersrus looking to claim the last European slot. It's not all over yet though. I wish Ars.enal had won 0-2 as that would have given me an extra 5 points but let's not be greedy heh.

Wow! I swear I do not believe it! A 10-point swing with that late Newcastle goal. Well played, pal. Fortunately, being a lifelong Miller, I'm well-hardened to heading the table for most of the season, dropping to second as we move to the close and relying on the last weekend's fixtures to save the day... Good luck.

Don't think I'm gonna catch Brin or Leedsmiller but my first go at this. The bronze medal position is OK.

Thank you but I still don’t believe it’s all over yet. Whatever happens this coming Sunday, may the best man win. It’s been a tremendous season and a great challenge for the title. Good luck 🤞
