Just the Dutch? Macron said recently that he was of the opinion that an EU referendum in France would say "non" to the EU and the French are net receivers of money. There is a swell of "nein" thinkers in Germany since Merkel decided to let in more than 1 million refugees. The assaults on "western" women haven't been as widespread as they have been in Sweden but there have been sufficient to stir up the locals.

I think Italy is more likely to kick up sh*t for the EU to be honest, especially with the centre-right coalition Berlusconi is knocking together

A bit of light relief (well it amused me):

I have a friend who works the outdoor markets around the North-East midlands, selling nutrient-free cakes, biscuits and other cardboard and plastic-wrapped cack. His latest marketing ploy, masking an across-the-board price INCREASE, has been to stick a banner over his stall stating 'Everything now at pre-Brexit Prices'. He claims (I have no proof and he is a bit of a bullsh*tter) to have seen a decent increase in trade, the irony of course is that EVERYTHING is still at pre-Brexit prices because Brexit hasn't happened yet! Its the market-trader version of 350mill on the side of a bus I guess.

They are discussing the document containing what the EU want Brexit to look like today. This will include, I believe, the "fine"/"divorce payment", trade conditions aka tariffs, any customs cooperation and the Irish border plus things like the EU Court of Human Rights and much more.

I can't wait to see its content............. but will probably have to as we mere mortals. more than likely, don't fall into the "need to know" category.

Except that...he’s actually telling the truth!

Take that slanderous allegation back ramAnag - to suggest, or even infer, that a market trader is telling the truth is a grievous assault on his character and likely to result in legal action for defamation

I think that was my point. 'The power of suggestion', as Harry Hill used to say, back when he was funny.

This is the same guy (my pal not HH) who won a battle to avoid being banned from Leicester market for selling what appeared to be 'Pukka Pies' (famous Leicester brand) but which were actually as marketed, 'pukka pies' - deliberately lower case, using pukka as a pronoun not a brandname, so 'genuine pies'.

Aye...you have a point...but even market traders look honest in comparison to politicians. Not sure where football agents figure in this hierarchy of dishonesty.

I thought you might be on the case of CEO's of Property Development companies today R, with the boss of Persimmon getting a £100million bonus, mainly triggered by increased business brought about through the govt's Help to Buy Scheme - which means that we the taxpayer have been shovelling our taxes indirectly into his pockets

pukka pies. Great ploy but falls foul of copyright/brand name Laws if I remember correctly. So close as to cause confusion. He might be persuasive enough to bypass Leicester market rules but I don't think the owmers of the Pukka Pie brand would be lenient on him if they ever found out......
