Not really. The US news cycle moves so quickly, if it is over 24 hours ago, it might as well have been last year. It's how Trump gets away with so much, he knows that something else will happen and the focus will have moved. Cable News in the US is set up for a 9/11 type event. Any other time, it's a 24 hour outrage machine. It's also horrendously myopic. 'Visit America and watch your own country disappear'.

I like the place as well but I have my sister and brother in law staying with me just now and politics is a no go. I mentioned the shooting last night to get some sort of reaction and they didn't even know about it. Despite her having friends in that area and being from LA herself. I got some grumble about the west and east coast being so messed up. In other words, non Christians to blame.

I love how the Mail make a half hearted attempt to be 'modern' and refer to 'her' and 'she' most of the time, but invariably manage to make a cünt of it every other paragraph. Like Sky Sports covering Scottish football...
