It's no surprise the ref has given Derby a penalty, Morrison can have no complaints after grabbing Keogh, 1-0, Bent with the goal. It's actually good to see a ref being brave enough to award one.
It's finished 1-0, deserved victory for Derby. Liverpool v Stoke up next.
1-0 Stoke, Walters header, Mignolet has to do better his near post.
All square and 1-1, Lallana with the finish after Johnson failed to clear the ball. An entertaining game so far with Stoke attacking at will.
2-1 Liverpool, Firmino with the finish, you don't see those very often where the ball hits both posts before going over the line.
3-1 Liverpool, Imbula with an own goal, Stoke again punished for lapses in defence.
Another Stoke mistake, Shawcross passing blind back to his own keeper, Sturridge rounds Grant for the fourth, 4-1. Stoke have played a big part in their own downfall after a good start to the game.
Stoke gave Liverpool a fright in the first half, but Liverpool too strong in the end.
Liverpool are almost the real thing this season for me. The only problem they have is defending, generally it's OK, just individual mistakes let them down. I think even half way through the season the Liverpool/Man City game will be pivotal.Quote:
