It honestly baffles me that people still can?t see it so have to ask.
I personally believe it?s blatantly obvious.

I'm genuinely 50/50 on the Maynard in/out question, because I'm not satisfied with what I've seen and I'm not convinced Maynard is the right man to take us forward, but my sense of fairness tells me it's not logical to sack someone who has taken us into a play-off position after a lower-half finish last season.
I also know from past experience that sacking managers who in some cases were not doing that badly (at least in terms of league position) only exacerbated the instability and bad culture that gradually took us downwards, whereas the comparative consistency and loyalty of the current regime to their 'head coaches' has created a positive culture and seen us moving gradually upwards.
What is certain is that I agree with your assessment of performances at the Lane recently, "turgid" being a very apt description. If Saturday's performance against Wimbledon was an improvement, then it only emphasises the low bar set by previous performances.
When Luke Williams was in charge, I felt genuinely excited about each game and really looked forward to seeing us play. Under Maynard, it's just been week after week of negative football played at pre-season friendly pace, with possession often going nowhere. Yes we still create occasional good chances and score goals that may look good and well-crafted in abstract on a highlights reel, but overall there's no aggression, passion or pace in our play. A lot of the time we look like we're going through the motions and stifling the talent of some of our best players rather than maximising their impact. Basically, it's just dull.
I'll renew my season ticket shortly, but being brutally honest I won't be doing it with any enthusiasm if I've got to watch more of the powder-puff, insubstantial football I've seen in recent months. Out of respect for our improvement in league position (and a little bit of sentiment for the BT engineer done good fairy tale) I won't join the 'Maynard Out' crew at this point, but bloody hell he needs to produce a more entertaining brand of football next season, otherwise I can only see one outcome.
Out. He's crap
Dont let him back on the bus
He has Wasted two seasons now
Goodbye, Mr Maynard.
Time to go.
The way he's talking in the post match, he definitely expects to be in charge next season.
He has to say and sound like that, he has to present himself for his next job, even if he's about to depart this one
