Note to the board transfer deadline ends tomorrow night at 2300 so sign some quality who will make a difference or our season will be over by Christmas but then again maybe the board that apparently run this club are happy to be back in league 2 as it will be cheaper.
Go back to the day in the Championship when we survived on the final day Bowler stood on the pitch and said "we won't let this happen again" well it did and its happening again it is all so frustrating why don't they come clean and let us know our true financial position surely there is money after recent years transfer activity to invest in the first team.
One of the Son's of Norman, our late Chairman of long standing who appointed Dario in 1983 is currently the Deputy Chairman and so one would suppose that he will take over when JB decides to step down. Indeed there are two Rowlinson's on the Board now. When they were appointed we all thought big changes were about to happen! ;)
No, he was just another Director appointed and has no preference but a few million to spare if that's what's needed? ;) I think his first is Charlie?Quote:

I must congratulate the board on there commitment to having a Cat 2 Academy and a Div 4 first team they have done an excellent job bonuses all round. Now what about the fans well they obviously don't give a xxxx so why should we, there will be Graham McGarry, Trevor Morse and tumbleweed blowing through Gresty Road soon they are hopeless John Bowler feed us more bs why don't you
Charlie could be the Boss of VW in Weston Lane
L.C.Chales stands for LAST CHANCE CHALIE believe it or not, when he set the firm up and has close ties with the club.
We really are at a low point to hear Steve on the radio after the game seems his hands are tied "some out to get some in".
I think all that fans want is transparency of income and outgoings what does it cost this Academy with all the coaches it has been said 1/2 a million a year but surely with recent years transfers there must be some cash available, we all appreciate young talent but it has to be able to flourish and best alongside some seasoned pros at this level we seem to have very few. Next 2 weeks will be interesting to see if there is any activity too late now to actually sign anybody. The season looks like its going to be an uphill climb all the way.
Its difficult to know where we go from here, I think Davis has an almost impossible job to do, he said after the end of last season that the job will be harder this year, he had probably just been told what his budget for this season was going to be. I think a drubbing at home by Rochdale and our inability to compete this season probably does mean a rethink. Its doubly difficult with Norman Hassall in there he dosnt want to help the club and when your major shareholder who also has the voting rights of Potts is only interested in making money out of the club he effectively controls then you know you have problems. This years budget is a joke but if that's where we are then the future looks bleak and it now appears that we can't compete with the likes of Rochdale so not sure where we go from here and not sure how we get out of this mess. If we need to point the finger we should be pointing it at the boardroom, although maybe there hands are tied also.
