I think it comes down to a refusal by the old school dinosaurs to accept and embrace cutting edge thinking and its application to Football.

If I were in charge, I'd adopt the "Mobius Strip" formation.

That way, we can defend so deeply that, in effect, we'd be attacking. The great advantage of the Mobius Strip approach is that, at its most extreme, we could put the ball in our own net and it would simultaneously appear in the back of the oppositions.

Nor can I tbh. I know a few Arsenal ST holders and the majority reckon Jenkinson was pretty poor during his time at The Emirates. Only seen him once for us (Malaga friendly) and he was total pants in that game.[/quote]

I didn't say that he should necessarily drop Demel, I said that I think Jenkinson may come in for him. Slightly different.

No, you didn't. And my post was agreeing with the Swedish bloke who said he saw no reason to drop Demel. Jenkinson would be the obvious replacement if that happened, even though you didn't suggest it. ;D
