How did you get offered tickets a couple of weeks ago to a game that didn't exist until 9 days ago (or 8 when you wrote your post)?Quote:

I would sugest that somebody said "if there is a replay due to the first game being a draw, would you like some tickets you brain dead ****!!!!"?
There, that reads better :)
Maybe it should read
"Hey SD if there is a replay of the Saints Ipswich game due to the first game being a draw, would you like some tickets so you can see two decent teams play instead of the sh!te you follow you brain dead TW AT!!!!"?
I don't ever, want to see Bertrand playing as the third centre back again.
I have never seen him look so uncomfortable in a Saint's shirt, as he did tonight.
I'm shocked McCarthy didn't tell Murphy to stick on him, then just lump high balls at him, to win.
Poor game to watch, but making excuses for the poor control and passing, the pitch was about 20 years out of date, and moe suitable to farming than football.
So a local Ipswich fan bet me a beer that they would win 2-1 tonight!
He sent a text last night to make sure I didnt text him during the game, as he was going to record and watch tonight
!
I texted him a few mins ago, and told him I'll buy him a beer next time I see him.
He's all excited now and cant wait to get home to see the game :D
Oh how disappointed he will be ;D
Disappointed he will be with the result and performance. :D
Saints' performance was mediocre but good enough. One half chance one goal from Shane Long. Not often can that be said.
Good to see the effort that was put in and once again a solid defensive display.
At times our passing was wayward and backwards which always frustrates.
Ipswich were predictable and one dimensional. McGoaldrought is still as greedy as ever and Bart (get shot of the beard ffs !) still flaps when the ball is passed back to him. :s
Palace next. Need to get a ticket.
Job done, not the most scintillating performance, and agree Betrand did not look comfortable.McCarthy set his team up well, and changed things second half when we had a good dominant spell. Tadic twice tried to walk through the Ipswich defence when other options were available. Again a very physical side and awful pitch. Tickets for Palace now needed.
Dull game, good result.
I quite enjoyed that, was home just over an hour after the match ended.
