I watched Panorama last night. The scariest thing for me is the corruption that takes place at government level. i.e laws getting changed that creates these loop holes that allow the rich and powerful the opportunity to say I haven't done anything wrong.

Sh1t as it is, by law they haven't.

What sticks in my crawl abart this are the people who praise the rich tax avoiders fo being financially clever and savvy. "Who wants to pay tax?" they say As Ponte sez it's just selfish greed. They are happy tp pocket extra millions or tens of millions as long as others are paying for things like the police to protect them, A&E Depts to help them in emergencies, sumdi to collect their rubbish etc. I know they bypass the state education and health systems by going private but we have trained the staff and given them experience before they are cherry picked.

Joking aside SBRed. It 'll be good when another leek reveals whose taking the back handers to get these laws changed that create the tax havens.

It's the guy they interviewed in the I.O.M and the other guy in Bermuda that's ar5es should be twitching and that's the problem. They haven't got the cohonies to turn down the money these big corporations are bringing into their tiny Islands. If you start making them accountable and stop changing the laws to suit that is.
