Match Thread vs. Cambridge Utd. 20/02/18

Half time.....total, absolute garbage......how the hell they are not 3 or 4 nil up is down to luck and poor Cambridge finishing.

Notts game plan is the same as normal.....hoof it to Stead who is being marked out of the game....the ball comes back at us roughly every 3 minutes, roughly every 5 minutes they have a shot at our goal......we have not had ONE SINGLE SHOT.....because we do not have a striker on the pitch....Nobsa tried to hook a ball in that landed on top of the net....Grant has had the ball 3 times, twice he lost the ball to their defender and the other time he fired it 35 yards infield for a Cambridge throwin......the Cambridge fans think we are hilarious.....I am not laughing.....this is a joke.

For Gawds sake....get Forte on

It seems to be the case. OK no more talk of automatic promotion I shall simmer my hopes. I'd take 7th place at the end of the season at this point in time.

70 minutes gone and not a shot on goal.... how can a professional football team not even manage a shot on target.... this is dire

It wasn't the supporters who started talking about automatic promotion. No striker recruited in the transfer window so same old, same old. The tactics surely should be to try to win games at this stage?

It pains me to say but I agree that is part of our recent slip of form. Earlier in the season goals were coming from midfield with strikers chipping in now and again, and things were all good but now they've dried up we've been found wanting with lack of firepower upfront certainly away from home in the past two games and tonight.

Thankfully Grant is being subbed because it sounds like he's a red card waiting to happen tonight.

Season is just vanishing before our eyes.!!!! They lack confidence, ideas, passion and quality .oh well at least we still have to promised top notch signing to arrive to arrive !?! ah gone quiet again
