Not anytime soon.
I've been diagnosed with Knee Ligament damage not Arthritis although it could end up as Osteoarthritis.
I do suffer from Arthritis, had a successful op 5 years ago on one of my feet to get movement back.
Had two sessions with a nice lady Physiotherapist, felt great for 24hrs then the pain came back. On NSAIDs atm and they're not working either.
Hope Eric's op went well he may be having a session with the morphine or ' hallucinating with Tramadol.
Edit : my other knee and both hips are fine so that's something to be grateful for.
I hope you're not suggesting Eric is a lard @rse tom12026. LOL.
By the way tom I'm still chuckling at you driving up Badsley Street in your bus........
Seeing a damsel in distress in a bus shelter...pulling her knickers up.....
A sight like that would put me off my " brecker " as well. 👍
Had my knee sorted at barlborough nhs hospital..recommended..in and out in around a couple of hours and medi car took me and brought me back..if you ask they may let you have it done there frank..its only 20 minutes down the m1..this hospital specialises in bones and hip jobs etc..no probs with my knee since it was done..
Thanks for that info Milla.
I will make enquiries with my GP.
Physiotherapist can only do so much.
Op will be a last resort, it's expensive for the NHS and the taxpayers.
Its like been in a Old Folkes Home on this forum, what wi ELK wi his hips and Zilzal wi Parkinsons Disease, think you 2 should form a duo, was it Swinging Blue Jeans int 60s that sang "Hippy-Hippy Shake. XDXD Seriously get well soon boys.
Hello lads,
I'm still in hospital, just managed to get connected.
Hip op went great, but they have now found trouble with my kidneys, so stuck here with a pipe up my old man, i.e. a cav ita never had one before.
I need the Miller's to start & get their act together.
I got my closed season date. 12 June is the op so I won't miss a bit of the World cup and as I'm not allowed to walk for 6 weeks I'll have full access to the remote control :D
Whoop! Whoop! Back to work by Christmas :D
