Sometimes BT, not often, just sometimes, you do talk sense. This is one of those occasions.>;)

Do these idiots not know what the impact is on Burnley - the town the team - it makes things so much more difficult in attracting new players and residents. I seem to remember in the race riots that occurred we were about to sign Peter Crouch but he did not sign due to the unrest and racism. I also remember when playing for Stoke he made such a reference in our programme. Who ever you are you are a disgrace to the town and the football club - hope you get a long ban.
A couple of mischievous knob jockeys cannot be held responsible for how a whole town and football club behave and believe lancaster100. If you seriously believe they do, then we are all phucked.
I speculate and suggest the bit of bad taste may have been in response to three white lives being ended by an immigrant with a knife. I have not heard any where near the same outrage over that tragedy. We need some perspective I think, otherwise we are all in danger of disappearing up our own backsides. :blue:
Well, not everyone if this message board is anything to go by Mr Dyche.

I suspect there's a little bit more to that 'terrorist attack' in Reading than the media are prepared to confront BT. The BBC report never once mentions the salient point of the incident, not that the victims were all white, but that they were all gay. This was not a random attack, the men were all targeted by an Islamist terrorist because they were gay, remember the Florida gay night club atrocity four years ago, Islam has form in this area, but the BBC doesn't mention this, clearly in the BBC pecking order of victimhood, Muslims rate higher than Gays.
Can you imagine the outrage from the BBC had a white youth killed three gay men, but a Muslim kills three Gay men and the Beeb doesn't think it's even worthy of mention that they were all targeted because they were Gay. The BBC is indeed a vile organisation.
59_60 -----Ben Mee, Sean Dyche and the club responded in exactly the way that the PL would have expected. Had they not done so, the media storm would have been incredible.
Now the club and town are being lumped as racist by many because of the response. When this banner appeared over the Etihad, it was always going to be a problem simply because it had Burnley tagged onto the message.
It was not the club, nor the town who authorised this stunt, however, it is the club and the town and those connected with it who have to deal with the fall out. There are no winners in this situation at all.
This last few weeks has shown just how we are all being manipulated by one force or another and they are relying on the fact that people have lost the ability to htink for themselves and also that quite a number of people don't want to be the ones who are bucking the trend. What a state this country is in, however, it is our own fault!
Edited because I have seen sinkov's post ---yes you are correct.
I hope your club don't have the effrontery to sign any more white players in the future, that would surely be racist in the extreme ;D
been a gradual process - Sub....the trickle feed of repetitive unthinking that swelled the unquestioning that swallow it into gushing dependence - enslavement to whatever the position supplied.
