Have a good friend that's a baggies fan and all during the transfer window he kept looking for any sign of activity. By the end the only thing we could come up with is that they were resigned to relegation before the season even began. They were horrible after the covid break and limped into the prem and did nothing. They also don't appear appear to have a particularly strong academy and had no players they can move from the U-23's. Truly an awful situation for a coach and staff.
Not sure what a new coach can do given the talent he's been granted. Maybe they are looking to cut expenses on the staff?
It's basically one team that's already booked a relegation ticket which helps us.
