Tend to agree with flour to target games but then again we cant afford to damage our gd which is good atm and worth sn extra point. The other problem is if we only put out half a side against the top teams we are gonna have teams at the top saying we are throwing games against their promotion rivals. Its a bit of a mess but i still say the football authorities should have given some lee way to extend the season seeing as tho tnere is a raging epidemic
The other thing that could be done is to keep the cut off but apply ppg for those not completing the season. So its important whatever we do to ensure we wunt go down if this happened
Worra bloody mess. Another thought with kids going back to school we may generally see more players infected now till the end of the season so ppg could rule again
In all seriousness, if we as a club have been following government guidelines and have kept contact to a minimum then I see no reason how the EFL can impose fines/sanctions against us.
Obviously there is a carrier within the club but, if we have been rigorously testing for Covid each week, then this is a new strain and it's now fully blown and come out. Maybe the previous post, mentioning the two night overnight stay in Bournemouth, was the cause?
I suppose the real worry is that everyone is not too ill and will hopefully will make a speedy recovery. Football is a second for me with this. It never rains but just pours on Rotherham United. What a shocking season this has been for the club.
If ppg might be applied for worrever reason the efl need to spell this out now and in what circumstances otherwise they are only going to get the aggro they got last season
In saying that if it keeps peterboro down im all for it.😆
I think that the long bmouth and norwich trips on coaches werent ideal even if we took 2 coaches. There is no way you can escape bugs in a confined space like that.
Based on the table so far we would stay up on gd to brum although we have same ppg. I know the efl wont call it now but we need to try to ensure we have decent ppg in case it comes down to this
They won't need PPG. Karanka and fans from other clubs have already decided, it's a points deduction and we forfeit the cancelled games. Never read so much bollox from opposition fans.
It could well cost us survival, especially playing catch up with the amount of injuries we've had recently.
Training ground is closed and players are training at home or isolating.
Keep calm, Jamie Lindsay will be back at lot sooner than we thought
