I am grateful that Mickey has managed to keep us up but I don't think he is the right man to take us forward. I can't think of any player that has improved under him, but I feel some have actually gone backwards and we are tying some of these guys on longer contracts! I am not convinced by him at all, we look like all the players have bought into the "we are still a championship team" mantra! We don't have a winners mentality, we are poor tactically and we aren't getting the best out of the players and that falls at the managers feet!
Come on! There isn’t a single one of us on here who thought “come on Micky stick on one of Appere or Chalmers”. For me there is absolutely no excuse for not exposing one of these guys to an occasion like this. What’s there to lose?
That is bad management. No less.
I’m ok for him to stay and build but feck me he’s going to have to develop himself a bit. I would like to think he will take some time to reflect on his own shortcomings and put something a lot more like a football team on the park next season.
Still beelin!!!
Yeah, so I'm going to have a break from here for a while
Agree with this in part. My main concern is that MM wld have had a say is some of the resigning of players like Clark pawlett connelly and harks. They are not good enough for the premiership and it shows a lack of ambition for next season. It has been clearly demonstrated this season that we need to strengthen and I’m not sure MM sees this. He has had a number of opportunities to at least play some of the young guns, especially in the midfield, and apart from the odd random appearance has chosen not too. Despite our performances against the likes of partick Forfar etc.
