To be honest, most people on this board are sound and have rational opinions. My comment was really only aimed at one person, who isn't even here any more, so it's falling on deaf ears anyway.

Raheem Sterling and Marcus Rashford have done more than the government to tackle racism in sport. Fair play to both of them. If half the country was against me because of the colour of my skin I would tell them where to stuff it.

Big characters and amazing role models for young, Black, British players.

Not at all, Ancient. I am fairly ambiguous on this issue and have argued for both sides. However, the substance of Southgate's letter is a soundly argued context for his actions. I respect his reasoning even if I do not 100% back his outcome.
