Not factually correct. Apparently, Sundays starting line up was the first time in a long time a Prem club fielded a side consisting of only UK nationals.

Watched a lot of it last night but then watched some of the more closer games. What I saw was pitiful, we know how good city are but they didn’t even lay a glover on them. One of their fans accused City fans of not singing but why would they? It was literally like a training game against the youth team. I have no doubt they will improve but they were woeful.
I think forest will stay up this season because of the manager, I really do think he could end up as one of the top ones by the time he retires with the right offers. It will be close though, away they need to pick up steady points and at home utilise the crowd who can play their part.
Didn't QPR do something similar to this, replacing the side that got them promoted with a load of foreign players only interested in the money and furthering their own career when Derry was there? I think he spoke about it on MC, that there was no togetherness in that squad whatsoever.
Hopefully something similar will happen with Fword.
Much better teams than F-word will get thrashed by Man City this season.
On the spending spree:
Seems to me like they are taking a huge gamble in paying for a brand new squad. If you could get players like Haaland for that sort of money it might just work, but you can't! Obviously highly rated players they are bringing in - but are they as good as, say, Saint Maximin (Newcastle). For every rocket like him you get ten duds. Think I'd rather be where Fulham are. They have kept faith with players like Mitrovic and it's beginning to pay off.
