"So Tony, it says here, could you tell us in just a few words why you're brilliant and have everything under control?"
"Thanks Joe, I wasn't expecting that question, but I'll try....."
To be fair to Joe, he's a club employee so he's not going to ask Tony anything too awkward or press him in detail on anything. My main complaint is lack of injury updates and quashing of online rumours.
DUTV.....United player plays a shocking pass to open space. Opposition player collects ball, DUTV commentator will say eg
"Smith's pass intercepted by Johnson"
It's a joke. An absolute joke. I don't expect them to slag our players off but I do expect them to call it as it is and they never do.
£17 a month to listen to commentator lies.
While I'm at it, the club shouldn't expect fans to get all their information about team matters from DUTV, Twitter FB and the Courier/Tele.
A lot of fans aren't on these platforms.
If I was running the club I'd expect my Director of Communications to be putting out a daily or at least regular update on the club website, checked over by the CEO first. Monday to Friday.
It doesn't have to be long or particularly detailed just keep it simple and keep the fans in the loop. We're being shortchanged.
" So,Joe, how does it feel to be director of communications at Dundee United?"
