Yes small world Usk , All my family used to be farming in the hills over Barnstaple, Braunton and Woolacombe, my Dad used to cycle miles to Barnstaple Grammar School every day back in the 30’s. I’m sure a few years ago my sister had a USA twinned Barnstable family stay with them in Braunton for a few days, think quite a group came over. Are you still in Devon Usk ?

No, in South Wales now (so, easy to watch the Millers at Cardiff/Bristol), but return to Devon for a walking weekend each year. Dad used to teach at the old Grammar School, but from the early 70s. (Impressive cycling effort by your Dad there). And my Mum used to work for the old agricultural training board, so with lots of farmers in your family's neck of the woods. I think the twinning families first came over around 1984, if memory serves, if that fits with your sister's hosting. Or maybe there were later visits.
