Walsall's defeat is not all bad news, I predicted them to miss out on the top three, they now have 4 points out of 5 games. It's hard to reverse a run like that.

We could end today in third, or we could end today in sixth with Colchester in 7th. Or somewhere in-between. Going to be a hard fought match.
Well that was a short stay at the top for Vale, Bradford ahead and sitting top now XD
Todays earlier results have all gone against us!! other than Walsall loosing maybe? we are looking positive but finishing poor, and attack looks a little lost with no real contribution from midfield no points today would just about finish any hope of top 3 finish with the other results!!
Not a great day results wise elsewhere for us and Port Vale are right in form now having lost once in the last six and winning three in a row.
With Doncaster winning as well we really need to win today to keep automatic promotion within our grasp.
We simply do not do it when it *really* matters and that is why we will not get promoted.
That is the sad reality.
Realistically, we're now relying on Walsall's winless run continuing to still be in with a decent shout of the top 3.
Port Vale look a pretty safe bet for auto now. Bradford still have some tough away games but play us at their place and it would be a big ask for us to go there and come back with the result we need.
Walsall away to Barrow next, then home to Harrogate, then away to Newport, then home to Accrington before finishing the season at Crewe.
Think our remaining games will play out something like this ;
Notts 2 Salford 0
Bradford 2 Notts 0
Notts 2 Cheltenham 1
Harrogate 0 Notts 1
Notts 1 Doncaster 1
That almost certainly won't be enough.
