Play-off ticket allocations

I know its petty but Wimbledon have given us 906 tickets, the away stand holds 1,426.

We should have agreed to give them the same number they gave us if they aren't giving us the whole away end.

I think you have to give a certain percentage of tickets in play offs to ground size that could be the reason.

Anyway as most ppl think we'll lose more fans in away end equals money helps pay Maynard off !

10% of the capacity is the minimum clubs can offer to away fans. We've given them 10% so they've given us 10%. Seems fair enough to me given it's the play offs.

Nice touch from the club to offer subsidised coach travel for the away leg:

Ticket details have been confirmed for the second leg of our Sky Bet League Two play-off semi-final against AFC Wimbledon.

We travel to the Cherry Red Records Stadium for a 12.30pm kick-off on Saturday 17 May and, having been allocated 906 tickets (with the possibility of a small additional allocation being sent to us next week), we have taken the decision to implement a priority system based on loyalty points accrued over the course of the 2024-25 season.

As a gesture of gratitude to our travelling fans, we're also subsidising official coach travel for this fixture.

We’ve given them over 20% of their average home attendance; they’ve given us less than 10% of ours. I’ve applied for the ticket ballot, but don’t suppose I’ll get one. I have 2 FA Cup final tickets for that day, but would have much preferred to be at Wimbledon.

I've heard that the kick off time was set to assist the massive Notts County following that there is here in New Zealand.

7.00am Sunday morning kick off is brilliant and we'll be having a pre-game BBQ and drinks, followed by the customary celebratory post-game BBQ and drinks after a great Notts win, that will make the second leg a dead rubber.

To be honest, I've never felt more underwhelmed. The last time I felt like this was driving down to London to watch Notts play Bradford in the 1996 Play Off at Wembley.

Wimbledon have apparently sold 1,700 tickets for tomorrow so far.
