The TV appearances these days are much more frequent with the introduction of Sky Sports plus.
Most recently , been spotted at Wimbledon ,Bradford City, Harrogate and MK Dons .
Surprising how many people in our town point it out when out walking.

No, but I've been in Eastenders a couple of times
I've been on TV a few times over the years including a home game v Chelsea in the late 70s (Notts lost 3-2), at Spurs in the 1991 FA cup quarter final (just before KO when the camera panned around the away end) and last season away at Grimsby (a few mates saw me going mental on TV shortly after we scored!).
I was once interviewed by Wigan Athletic TV when I was chaperoning a Latics fan who'd won a competition run by my employers to become a 'Player for the Day' at their final home game of the season. I escorted the winner around the stadium, dressing rooms and out on to the pitch before KO etc. The game was against Man United who won the title that day and I was one of the first to congratulate Sir Alex Ferguson in the tunnel before the Premier League trophy was presented on the pitch.
I was also featured in the audience on ITV talent show Walk the Line when my musician stepson Youngr was performing on it a few years ago (a cheesy X Factor style programme which thankfully didn't damage his career - or mine lol!) ;)
PS. First time I've been on this board for years. I didn't know it was still going!
In a similar vein, a bloke who used to take me and my mate to Notts matches when we were kids in the late 70s was once a competitor on the Generation Game. Think it was when Larry Grayson and Isla St Clair were on it. Have a vague recollection of rushing back from the match one Saturday night to watch the episode he was in! 😂
