I believe the player is wanting to leave, so we are better cashing in if that's the case. It may fund another player or more than likely, pay for a chink of the Shankland transfer. I am pretty easy with this, I would rather have no player than a player that is unhappy at the club.
Had a nightmare at Hearts which raises the question of can he step up if we were to be promoted, but the focus and goal is promotion which he would be a big part of in this league
Hard one. Are we in a position where we don't need to sell? Can we replace him? Do we have replacements lined up? Heard RN tried to pap him out on loan in January as he doesn't rate him?
Heard the guy we had on trial (canna mind the name) has been told no.
He had 2 good games at CM vs ICT in the playoffs then didn't turn up in the final 2 games vs St. Mirren after promising so much previously. Wouldn't be fussed if we let him go. We've just signed King for that position meaning we have Butcher, King, Harkes & Stanton if need be for centre mid.

Sporle signed to be first pick, Booth has had less starts than Robson so it's the logical choice really. We need to trim the squad so something has to give. Sam Nicholson was rumoured last night apparently, possibly the new winger?Quote:

Booth's a horse's @rse. If we have ambitions of moving forward and becoming an established SPL team again we'll need better players than him. Robson will improve and has much more to his game anyway but I suspect Sporle will be no 1 choice this season. We don't need 3 Left Backs and Booth is the one I'm happiest with losing.
I'd be disappointed to lose Bouhenna but if he wants to go and we get a wee bit cash for him so be it.
I'm all for having patience to develop young players but it looks to me like Appere and Banks have both overtaken Matty Smith in the pecking order so it makes sense to let him go to be honest. He's had a few chances and never really taken any of them. If we're bringing in Nicholson I'd be pretty pleased with that!
