I’ve not watched many of his interviews apart from that one and the Russell Anderson one .

I know we should give whoever gets the job a chance but if Stephen Glass gets the job I genuinely feel it will be brutal. I would much prefer the Croatian guy if he has players who he definitely knows would definitely make a big difference to us but obviously we could afford. I could be wrong but I don’t think Glass will have that ability and may heavily rely on Russ Richardson or someone of that ilk.
He's an ex player, but he's not exactly a club legend coming home is he? He was a good player, but I don't have any idea of what he's like as a guy - is he a motivational, inspirational leader? You wouldn't really get that impression from how he was as a player. Is he a winner? Other than winning that bike in the league cup final, has he ever won anything else in his life? Does he have lots of connections? He's been over in the States for years and I doubt very much whether that's a market we're really going to get much joy out of.
Maybe he'd turn out to be great, but it's just not particularly inspiring or exciting, which i think is what we're needing.
Lets face it we all have different preferred candidates for the manager position. No one really knows if someone will be good or not.
Glass hasn't even been announced yet but if he is then he might be a good fit he might be sh~te we just don't know. Pretty much the standard of this forum though to be digging in to him already.
Glass was a prospect as a player but I never really heard of him again after he left us.
I can't even remember him leaving us.
I've definitely got nothing against him, however I don't remember him as a forceful or aggressive character.
If It's Glass (and it looks like it was always going to be) then fine, he has my backing and I hope he does well.
If they go down the Director of Football and Coach route then fine as well but be prepared for hell from the media.
It's worked like that for decades in places like Italy but for some reason the Scottish press see it as some sort of dirty foreign habit.
The fact that it would be Aberdeen that's doing it would mean that they are circling, looking for any flaw that they can ridicule.
Hearts have tried to break away from the norm a couple of times and been slated for it, so they will definitely get stuck right into the Dons.
Stuff them , let's do it.
COME ON YE REDS.
