Cell Block H had a trans prisoner

I know you aren't against trans folk Stewarty, but who mentioned the GRA bill here (well other than way back). I have not studied the bill in any great length as I live in germany, and don't follow scottish politics in depth these days (would still vote for independence if I moved back so you could all get your EU passports back and be free of thenrogues at Westminster). We are / I am speaking more about general minority rights.
There is still very little (no) proof there is a queue of *** offenders waiting to get a *** change to widen their prey to include female inmates - who would potentially have their balls off pretty quickly (the 2nd part there making an unresearched assumption which may be painting female inmates in the wrong light).
If we had a daughter, and if my husband took her swimming, she would be in the male changing with him when at a young age. I don't think the guys in there would particularly change their routine because someone brings their kids in. If in the female changing room and someone revealed a cock and balls - I don't know, I'll let you know when it happens. But people who transition are a tiny minority, and that will not change to allow straight pervs easier access to perv on young girls - they are not all going to be rushing down the clinic.
And contrary to many people's belief (I know not yours Stewarty), trans people are not pervs. I would imagine (and again this is an assumption on my part) that a proportion wouldn't want to draw attention to themselves and would change discreetly, perhaps using the cubicles available in many changing rooms. I change discreetly, as do many others, I shower in a shower cubicle, and (like most others) I do not walk about the dressing room naked. So based on that level of experience, where I could easily and unknowingly be surrounded by trans folk, I don't see an immediate threat.
You're far too sensible to be posting on here.
I agree 100% with your last point. Most people against this law are of a certain age and can't and will never accept the changing world we live in.
Just like the battle for independence, it will be future/current generations who get it as us older ones are mainly rooted to what they know and don't do change.
Aaah, you're a girl.
I'm afraid the average male changing room is a lot more communal that I expect the ladies is.
Also , living abroad, you're probably a bit out of touch with how the constant fear propaganda generated in this country has left the female population scared of their own shadows.
I just read today that zillions of complaints have made Sainsburys remove an advert for a frock because it said it was excellent for going for a walk or for wearing in the evening.
The complaints were based on the horrific thought that a company like Sainsbury's would encourage women to go out for a walk when it was clearly dangerous for a woman to be outside on her own.
Now this worries me on many levels, some it's an age thing ( why would anyone consider complaining about an advert for one)
But the culture of fear is ridiculous, who wants to bring their daughter up not to be confident enough to go outside?
I see girls in Hungary, walking home, late at night, street lighting nowhere near as bright as it is in the UK, and they haven't got a care in the world.
If you're walking behind them, you don't have to change your route or fall back because they're not scared of you.

A quote for people who don't want to open a link to the tory rag.
Another asked: ‘Anyone else super concerned about the intention behind this ad? You all trying to endanger more women or are you just poking fun at the fact that if we do this we die…?’
It’s not fear propaganda thats doing it. It’s the continuous attacks by men. You know that schools are having to teach the kids that Andrew Tate is a f*cking w@nk because they idolise him? There’s also going to be a huge problem with incels. That’s a ticking time bomb
Meanwhile, your feminist movement in Scotland are spending all day every day targeting folk who just want to be left alone. This’ll get much worse
I don't know anything about anyone called Andrew Tate and it's certainly not my feminist movement.
" Just want to be left alone"
Don't make me fückin laugh
Look at me, look at me.
Incels - I had to look it up.
fückin hilarious, still, what do you expect from folk who have lived their whole life in their bedroom?
It's a real world out there kids......ooooh scary.
And this is the generation you say that will bring about independence and a prosperous Scotland?
ooooh the power of the internet ooooh
tell a trans person what?
There's no such thing, there's male and there's female, you can't change one into the other.
