Eddie comes away with a huge point at Adventus and effectively keeps the competition alive as well as keeping his very slim (i.e. no) hopes alive. Apart from top spot, the table is as crowded as a Pukka Pie free give away kiosk although BM's title aspirations are dashed for another year. No pressure on raging but we are looking to you to come back refreshed and sober from your break to keep the rest of us in this.

Tough away trip to Adventus's ground today and research shows me - or wiki shows me that Adventus's style is very tica taca. Lots of 3ft tall oompa lumpas running through the legs of opponents and, in short, baffling the stupid, ignorant, old and stupid regular Madsters through quickness of thought and movement.
In light of this, I rested my usual team of nazi thugs and hired in a team of Kate Bush impersonators who will do anything for free as long as they can do their communal red dress garbed rendition of Wuthering Hights to share on YouTube.
It worked a treat - the sizably minimalist Adventean team were spellbound as our team of smashing Kates twirled, pirouetted, and dribbled through the centre to score a good early goal and continued to baffle the midgets with their bizarre, otherwordly, ***ual but at the same time a little bit crappy movement routine with magnificent final flourish to end on a magnificent bird. And quite frankly boys, wasn't she just? Woof!
As we shook hands, Adventus took offence at me asking him why he named himself after a Roman Christmas calendar and minced off in a huff. Not a good look for a 23 stone pink faced heart death of a man. Sadly for him, he walked staight under a bus, so any opponents of Adventus may have an easier ride that they expect. Get well soon Adventus. I've emailed you the dietician details we discussed.
