LW did an interview a couple of weeks back saying he really wants to get back into the game and is happy to be a backroom coach or assistant to get a salary so perhaps his contract at Swansea wasn't so greatQuote:

I?ll be honest I don?t think he?s as good as we probably think he is. He had a hard gig at Swindon but ultimately wiltered under a bad board and big head Tim Sherwood and bar beating Cardiff during a bad initial run which kept him in a job and after.Quote:

I'd argue our style is very much the problem. We lack tempo and bravery on the ball. We always slow everything down, allowing the opposition to re-group and get back in position. We have some genuine pace and attack minded players, but our style feels like we're driving a Ferrari with the handbrake on.
This season we have put high balls into the box for someone to get a header on but it?s felt like a percentage game sometimes. I think it was Gillingham at home where we did this time and time again and their defence kept tidying it up every time. It?s bread and butter for league two defenders to be good in the air aerially. I?d have liked to have seen more through balls on the floor and breaking the lines for Jatta to run onto. I?m talking about those Crowley and Nemane combo line breaking passes but using the channels for through balls. Today we did a through ball once in the second half for Traore to run onto and that was about the only through ball I remember. We tried some cut backs in the box but still tried aerially is well.Quote:

I agree with everything here apart from the first sentence. There are loads of ways to play football and they can all be successful if you do it with tempo, intensity and bravery on the ball. Notts have underwhelmed this season because they havent shown those things, not because of the brand of football they play. We could play the total opposite and without tempo and bravery on the ball it would still be bad.Quote:

I'd argue we don't have any identifiable style anymore. We used to be possession based, then we added some long balls, now we're slow possession and sloppy long to a target man who isn't.Quote:
