Although I hope it works out for AB I won't miss his incredible cock-ups every other week.
He wasn't a popular guy off the pitch with team mates either as he's too quick to call out other people's mistakes despite his own regular Mr Bean impressions

Yeah, a bit of revisionism there for sure. Baldwin was so careless at times, and it had noting to do with our style of play. Watch the Shrewsbury highlights back. The third goal sums him up. Having already made two awful mistakes that led to goals, he chases a nothing ball down the channel and half-heartedly lobs is from a completely safe position across the goal.
He was great on his day, but overall he just seemed too lax and didn't inspire confidence.
Yes, I'm always happy for the football market place to settle these kinds of debates. Where players end up and what happens to them provides the answers. I was always higher than most on Elliot Hewitt, for example, and he's spent nearly all of the last 5 or 6 years at a higher level than us.
And then there was all those arguments during the Nolan/Ardley eras. We have one subject of those, RR, now a Championship player while others that were more touted by some at the time quickly went to the likes of Boston, Buxton, Nuneaton, Kidsgrove etc or retirement. On the other hand, Jake Reeves quickly won a promotion to L1.
What about Colby Bishop, not good enough for notts by all accounts, now let’s think who he plays for again.
There’s always players who will surprise. I bet York City fans slagged off Langstaff when he scored 1 in 22 in 19/20
Sometimes the way a team plays, a manager, or even a good kick up the back side changes a player and they click.

I'd completely forgotten about Liam Walker, but I've got a mate who follows Gibraltar and he's basically their most famous player ever. She was trying to explain that their most famous player played for Notts and I felt guilty to have so little memory of his time with us.
Good news for TAR. That's a good move for him to a relatively big NL club and it would be good to see him establish him stand get a full injury-free season.
Scot Bennett leaves Newport. Surprising, given that he'd basically become a club hero there.
