Stadium Expansion?

The East stand can definitely be expanded. It has all the foundations for an extra 4,000 seats, and 2,000 each on the North and South.

First 4,000 expansion would cost £2m, then £3m to take it to 20k. Not sure which phase would be first though.

But two years on from that, more cost involved I would expect.

But the fans need to come.

I'm sure TS said away end & east stand would be extended 1st. Ground wouldn't look right if away & home end was done 1st. Then the smallest part of the ground in height east stand left alone. Away end is priority.

Anyone have any idea as to how long the expansion of stands would take?

ie can it be done and dusted in a close season?

I'm guessing it depends on which stand they target first but has anyone ever heard how quickly it can be done once Tony gives the green light?

If plans are already there then I can't see it taking too long, depending on weather, workmen turning up, materials getting here on time, right materials turning up etc ;D
