Quite possibly our best player, Thorne, has been out of competitive football for the best part of a year, so it made perfect sense to play him to get him back up to the standard of match fitness required. Given our financial "problems" playing the young lad, to see how good he is now, also made some sense. The other players were all either first team or on the fringe players.
On paper it wasn't a bad Championship level team we put out, and from radio commentary it sounded as if Derby should have wrapped the game up before your team scored an out of the blue goal.
My only concern is our apparent weakness at left-back, where your late attacks came from.
