I'd get rid of Noble, contracted or not. His dismal 45 minutes against Coventry epitomised his season for us.

I'd get rid of Noble, contracted or not. His dismal 45 minutes against Coventry epitomised his season for us.
Shola - Release (what a great character - brought hero worship back to the lane)
Collin - Release (looked very slow and cumbersome in the last few games)
Smith - Release (another that puts everything in - keep just for coaching)
Hunt - Release (did what was expected when Tootle was out - a good YOUNG fullback required)
Dickinson - Release (looks to have said his goodbyes - after last year's debacle i thought he was decent, always gave 100% and never shirked a challenge)
Forte - New Deal (always a threat,as shown in the last part of the season - when he's not played on the wing)
Milsom - Release (an integral part of the squad for the past couple of years but time for him to move on and restart his career)
Jones - New deal (been very good for most of the season especially in the oppositions half but still a little suspect defensively)
O'Connor - New deal (Definitely try to keep - this guy could be the catalyst for a new style of play - looks the winner we bought him for)
Pindroch - New Deal (not seen a lot but we need a young 3rd string keeper)
Duffy - Release (love him or loathe him he was by far the player of the season - good reading of the game and comfortable on the ball but i think he reached a peak with us this year and judging by the way he walked off last with Shola at the end of the game on Friday makes me think that was his last game)
Tootle - New deal (needs more competiton at right back - had a decent season and a great character but looked lost in the play offs)
Saunders - Release (looked lively in the league game when he came on but we need to get quality forwards in)
Hodge - Release (not seen at all)
Fitzsimons - New deal (should be installed as new number 1 keeper - more agile than Collin)
Howes - Release (not seen at all)
Bird - New deal (looked very good in the few games he's played....and young as well)
Brisley - Under Contract (another who had a decent season but needs someone like Duffy next to him to control him)
Hewitt - Under Contract (very impressive season, just behind Duffy for POS...flagged for the last few games but would definitely work with someone like O'Connor next to him pulling the strings)
Noble - Under Contract (very disappointing apart from Mansfield - i for one was very excited about his return but the orders for the up and under's frustrated a lot of people....will do better next year)
Stead - Under Contract (love the way this guy plays, even if it's not to his strength - play it more on the floor next year and we will still see him scoring....albeit from the bench)
Husin - Under Contract (at times looked very good on the ball - could work with a captain like O'Connor next to him)
Hawkridge - Under Contract (very disappointing - should look to let him go)
Alessandra - Under Contract (looked good in parts, especially when coming off the bench - definitely keep)
Thompson - (always liked the look of him in central midfield - is he still under contract?)
Osborne - (what happened to this lad?...had a cracking game at Morecambe under JS but never seen since)
Virtue - Loan (not lived up to the hype)
Grant - Loan (would love for KN to make a move for him - think he would be another to benefit from a fully fit O'Connor)
Hall - Loan (very good young defender but not vocal or commanding enough to work with Brisley)
We've come up against some very good central defensive partnerships this year so hopefully KN will have his scouts out looking for a classy CH that's comfortable on the ball!
Would it be asking too much for a winger that can actually cross the ball other than the fullbacks?
Would love to see a forward like Stockley or Eves leading the line....and hopefully get Bennet back on loan to show what he's made of!
Just to say what a great season this has been....looked forward to every single home game (not so regarding away performances) and raised expectations among (almost) every County fan!
Roll on next season!

It's not about the other 10 players, and I'm not making a case that the poor first half was his fault. The point I'm making is that he has been consistently poor in every game I have seen him, apart from against Mansfield at home, and his performance against Coventry epitomised this.
