Warney did say he probably wouldn’t have a problem in getting a new contract with new Newell during the summer so that sounds to me like Warney wants it sorting out

disagree Newell holds all him cards.

he knows rotherham will sign him.

he knows if he waits and has a good 6 months in the championship he could get a bigger paydeal at a bigger club.


the club holds no cards it is all down to Newell and what decision he makes

I believe we are still entitled to some compensation. See the link I've attached, there is no mention of us having to offer a contract as it won't only be us that gets compensation, it would be any club that JCH has played for in his career so far.
