Do people seriously think that these players are not trying their best? Isn't it just possible that -
1. They simply lack the quality at league level,
2. The chemistry of the team is completely unbalanced
and
3. A loser mentality has taken over. After all, they're not playing to win anything now this season?

Your three points are all valid, and may go some way to explaining the reasons why, but you have to attend games to see the bigger picture. The winning of second balls should be 50/50 because both teams have the same number of players to win them, but we win 30/70 at best. Whether that is down to lack of ability, formation, or loser mentality is open to debate, but in the games I've seen this season the opposition just seem to want it more than our lot. If Ardley can get a bit of passion and desire into the squad, it will be worth a couple of new signings.Quote:
