I agree, it's good to see some of the old posters returning. :o

The most annoying thing to me is that imo we've seen much worse squads than the one we have currently.

https://www.footballdatabase.eu/en/c...unty/2004-2005 Look at the absolute state of that squad and the few years either side of it were pretty awful too. There's enough ability in the squad minus a few players that we need to bring in in key positions (GK, CM, CB) it's just a case of getting it out of them consistently.

Agreed. The ball is in Ardley and Cox's court. If they can find an 11 that can be trusted to perform then there's definitely enough ability. Three or four astute additions on the back of some wage-freeing departures and we have the potential to be OK.
