We unexpectedly played proper football tonight and it paid off. Everybody played well, except Towell and so Crooks should have come on earlier as sub. The QPR central midfielders had far more pace than ours, but ran into a solid Millers back line most of the time. Great performance from Semi again, and best game from Vyner in a Millers shirt that I've seen. Smithy played well, apart heading wide from six yards out yet again!!! Best performance from Newell for a long time, even though he was injured near the end of the game and had to go off.
We lost concentration late in the game YET AGAIN and conceded a goal after the 80th minute (is Warney allowed to use electronic shock implants by the EFL rules to keep our defenders awake?), but Semi came to the rescue. Both Semi strikes had no power behind them, but were perfectly placed.... maybe we are doing something in training after all?
Also the Vaulks obligatory long throws have been a bluff - several of our players can takes long throws quite well! Maybe more stuff done in training?
A pity about the Mattock booking, especially with Robertson being injured. Maybe Hinds
will get a chance? Not the ideal situation though with Norwich's speedy wingers next on at the NYS.

Good performance all round although Towell looked out of sorts. Vyner was impressive on his return. Crooks needs to start instead of Towell. Mattock was awesome and there’s no words to describe Ajayi’s outstanding ability to score ***** goals. Smith had a good game but you can’t blame a broken toe for missing that header!
