I always got the impression that the polis knew more about that murder than they were saying in public.

I think that's a given......same (though in a different way) with Renee MacRae.

Rumours in the Highlands that there could be some clarity in that particular case over the next few months...……..

I don't think it was the husband... Fingers were pointed towards her lover, who was living in London about 15 years ago. I'm not sure if he's still alive...

I have my doubts whether anything will move forward with that case. It's very tricky given the bodies haven't been found and the length of time that's passed since the murders

And is there any indication of the motive? I remember they were telling the public that it might've been a case of mistaken identity, missing the whole point of why he was shot on his doorstep

Nothing I've heard beyond rumour.

I did hear a tale that the real target was her brother, but there was another one that he was playing away with a girl from a connected family, so who knows?

Maybe him & Jill Dando were murdered by the same person
