I don't really think that this General Election was about Brexit at all. Yes, it was all part of the campaigns etc., however, I think that Labour misread the public who have reacted to the fact that Labour made it quite clear by their actions over the past three and a half years that they would not honour the peoples' vote ---that happened to be Brexit, however, it could have been anything really ---it was the overall concept that they were not willing to listen to people.

They also made a mistake with a manifest which really did promise Utopia, however, any intelligent person could see that it was all pie in the sky because they did not prioritise things which, if they had have done, would have made more sense and could well have influenced some voters.

Millions of Labour voters thought it was about Brexit Supersub6. Free beer for life with Wi-Fi thrown in was never going to swing it.

Seems Boris is worried they're not quite dead and buried yet BT, he's Miller proofing the WA before he brings it to the Commons.

So Ms Miller thinks the government are indulging in some 'personal score settling'. Good, I should bloody well hope they are. Then when they've put Miller firmly back in her box they can turn their attention to the Supreme Court and the BBC. They don't need to bother about Labour, they'll be busy in the next few months settling their own personal scores, blood will be running in the streets.XD

History has already proved the opposite Bt many many times he’s as open and bare faced about supporting terrorist , fighting for their release and his blatant refusal to condemn tells me all I need to know.

Anyway as I said from day 1 I believe he is and you don’t , turns out many more have the same opinion as me, whilst you maintain Brexit sunk labour in the election I’ll rest safe in the knowledge that he’s moving on to practice his politics away from the front line.

Poor Jezza, he had a right strop on today, slamming his car door on a reporter this morning, refusing to talk to Boris on their way to listen to Brenda, refusing to laugh when Tracey Crouch had a very gentle dig at him. He was a like a spoilt child that hadn't got it's own way, a massive day long sulk. And this miserable tw@t could have been our Prime Minister, we've fecking dodged a bullet here and no mistake.

I also witnessed his temper tantrums yesterday sinkov. I like dignity and honour in defeat, I do not appreciate infant like strops. I was not at all impressed with Corbyn yesterday and quite liked Johnson's winning smirk.

If and it's a big IF, the Tories can somehow shape up and keep their northern gains by addressing the social and economic imbalance we suffer up here, they will breeze the next General Election.

I have been a fully committed Labour supporter and activist for almost fifty years, it pains me to say it but somehow, someone will have to rebuild the Labour Party from the ground up. Corbyn should hit the backbenches right now. Thank you for your service and goodbye.

Interesting observations BT. Personally, I think that current demise started with Tony Blair, who probably did more towards privatising the NHS than any other political leader in the UK.
He possibly took the Party further away from their core values than they wanted to be and this was how the far left ended up being so popular and getting the foot in.

Whatever the reasons, their quest has failed miserably and it will take a special person to rebuild things and to gain the confidence of those who, traditionally, they claim to represent. I am at a loss to suggest who that may be.
