When we first went top a few weeks ago it did feel strange, like we didn't really belong there. We had quite a low points tally, 44 I think it was, compared to teams who were top of the other divisions, and a 10 year low for this division I was told.
But we've carried on accumulating points with win after win and have grown into our position now, and it feels right and comfortable.
I just hope we can stay in the top two because the playoff pack at the minute looks evil and I wouldn't fancy being in a mix at the end of the season that could have Sunderland, Portsmouth and Coventry in there. Last time in the L1 playoffs beat Scunny and Shrewsbury, to put it into perspective.
By tonight we could be 6 points clear of 2nd place which would be nice.
