And now they (HMG) have admitted that the stats used to justify the action announced on Saturday (and all the f00king slides they showed), were wrong and drastically OVERSTATED the infection, hospital admission and death rate predictions, AR5EHOLES, EVERY ONE OF THEM.

My sister in Greece told me that they have gone to complete lockdown.

Well, we went into full lockdown mode for 6 weeks and got rid of it, for now, so don't know what the powers of Europe planning.
What they did here is prohibited all city slickers from moving around a 5-kilometre radius. Only allowed out for supermarket shopping and chemists were open. The countryside we didn't have it harsh we were free to move around provided we wore masks and stayed 2 metres apart. So we survived the lockdown I'm sure you can also. The only thing that will take a hit is the economy and your pride.

No, you didn't "get rid of it" or it wouldn't be back would it?

Just like flu, its here to stay, and unless we are accepting that we will live in little boxes much like the chicken coops we consider so unacceptable even for our feathered friends, then an alternate strategy MUST be developed (or do you like a chicken coop existence?)

FFS read properly I said for now lol. And I don't know chickens look happy they eat free food drink water play around and make eggs seem pretty simple life. It's like me right now I get up eat play around cleaning than sitting down on the computer and watching tv and couldn't give a f--k about the world.

I did read "properly". Nowhere has "got rid of it" for any length of time, which is why there are now various flavours of lockdown around the world. Lockdown is not the solution, unless like I say, we live like that more or less forever.

We're not chickens, and while your lifestyle is similar to mine at the moment, I dont imagine you would want that for your kids/grandkids, any more than I would want it for mine.

The world is changing for the worse and not just this virus. Corporations are running us and they can do whatever they like. We have gone from riding horses in 100 years to cars skyrocket buildings so on. Next, we will be flying cars trips to other planets and the end of this planet so yeah I fear for the next-gen and beyond.
