Bamford's always been fragile and he's not getting any younger. It's time to move on. He's solid when he plays but if you play 25% of the time and take up a roster spot that could be used for someone that's nearly as competent yet plays 80%+ of the time it's kind of a no brainer. Nothing personal, just business.
Other teams think the same way so the high risk aspect of acquiring someone already established is that they may be trying to do the same thing. we won't get any where near his worth for Bamford since he's been injured much of the last 3 seasons. He's the opposite of Dallas or Alioski. You get the feeling those guys played unless a bone was sticking out.
