I doff my hat to Chris Pincher. I've had some wild days/nights/weekends/weeks out over the past 5 decades and a bit but even I never had one that good it brought a government down.

I'm sure his resignation speech was written by party aparatchiks and they would want the message to focus on the positives and going forward, rather than the negatives. Thus the speech was entirely predictible and orchestrated by the party - even if it suited BoJo's ego.
