Would it be OK if I cut back on the mon amis CM, just called BT mon ami every now and then, or would you prefer it if I cut them out altogether and called him something else, like Bro ?

I'm in france now, mes amis ;)
Hi Sinkov... It didn't bother me until page 4 and it just struck me. I suppose it could be my aversion to the French in general but Mate, Buddy, Pal, Oppo or even Friend would be a nice replacement every now and again. If you are good mates, which is evident that that you are, do you really have to keep saying it?
To be honest CM, I never imagined anyone would care, or even notice what we called each other, it's a bit of a standing joke between us, sometimes I'm sure we'd like to call each other cruder names, maybe effing c--t, something like that, but if we stick to mon ami, it covers all eventualities and it stays relatively polite. But I have no wish to cause offence, except to my good friend BT occasionally, when he's in full loony left mode, so I shall swop things around a bit.
Besides I've seen photos of you, you're a big lad, I'm not falling out with you CM. ( I nearly said mon ami then, but I caught myself just in time.) XD
Oh God!!! What have I done.....??
