Top. I'm always optimistic until the season starts 🤣. Seriously though i think we've made some good signings and i have a good feeling this season will be ours. I'll probably revise this prediction in a few weeks though 🤣
After much fence-sitting (never been one for bandwagons) I've gone for an optimistic 3rd place. It's harder than usual this time because we have a lot who are unproven at this level, but I like what I've seen so far.
Cheaterfield doing the same

I’m comfortable with those 2 massive clubs thinking they will smash it up, whilst most of us are pragmatic in our predictions, they are all in. If things start to go wrong for either club, the pressure and discontent from the fan base could soon see one if not both spiralling out of control.
Chesterfield fans are pinning there hopes on Tshimanaga, he has played much and an injury like his isn’t one that you fully recover from, mentally or physically.
Wrexham can probably afford to be more confident given the depth of forwards they have. That said I’m not convinced about them defensively.
We seem well balanced and in time I think we will be well drilled. Our signings are straight from radar and I can’t wait to see Langstaff in particular. A hattrick against a L1 side and a good finish v a Prem side shows his capability. His confidence will be sky high.
Last chance to vote, poll closes at 9:50 tonight.
Now the new season is upon us, I’d like to revise my prediction of 9th to the dreaded 5th, largely based on the Forest match.
Still got those gaping holes in the squad in midfield, up front and the ***** position of LWB. I’d also say Slocombe isn’t up to the standard of a team chasing top 3, but that’s less of a pressing need.
To be fair, I’m quite surprised at how many of the previews have us in 2nd or 3rd. Hope they’re right.
