That week is when LR should have been here training them.

The club didn't handle the manager change over well, no matter what the excuses, but TS still finances our club and the only reason we still have a club is because he does. Yes we survived in the past with the buckets and people taking action when we were very close to going under, but the empty seats tell me that the people of Rotherham don't care whether they have a club or not. I am not talking about the core of loyal fans, so don't all get angry I am saying generally the people that are the floating visitors to the ground. Our new manager came out to wave to the fans there was about 3,000 there to welcome him. Now any club will have a drop when things are going bad but we are playing in the Championship against big clubs and good players, what will it be like mid-table in L1? Ask yourself this if TS says he has had enough and chooses to call it a day, what then?
Perhaps the club can do more to help fill the seats and hopefully they will, but the local people need to do more too.
The disappointing thing for me last night was the missed opportunity - The players missed their chance to show the new manager that they are responsible and up for the fight.
Anyone can see that we lack some quality we pass in straight lines and run into areas that are unlikely to have any space in them. BUT there was an opportunity to level up the lack of skill and quality with effort and intensity.
Effort and intensity cost nothing - Quality costs millions. We have no excuse not to show any.
Yes we must the only club that plays worse when the new Manager is watching rather than playing better.
I suspect that things are going not going to get better for a while because it’s not just about the 4 weeks or so that’s been lost.
LR will need an equivalent time to get them organised and the players being comfortable about how he wants things done.
Then, if by some miracle, we persuade players to join us in Jan they too will need a bedding in time to get to know their colleagues and LR,s system
The new manager slump.
I think there is a lack of "Giving a sith"
Seriously the lack of fight from the 12month contract and loan boys is astonishing.
If TS wants us to stay in the league the level of spending in January is going to have to be colossal - and he won't do it.
I can't wait to see the back of this season. Literally everyone apart from Georgie and Jamie will be gone, with Blackett and Humphreys staying too. Everyone else will be sold or released and I can't help but think thats a good thing.
Again I say, if you want punters through the turnstiles you have to have a product worth paying to see, a product that will entertain. So who in their right mind would pay good money to watch rubbish. Most people would be sacked if they were paid good money to do a job but couldn't be arsed to do it.
My 10 pence....first of all,how the hell are WBA in 5th place, honestly they were only slightly better than us.
I actually thought I saw a difference in some of our play,we passed the ball more, even from Viktor to the defenders, maybe this was just a coincidence,as Leam had only been there 5 minutes, but it was nice to see.
However, everything else was the same,as others have said, the young players, and I`ll include Cohen is this, aren`t good enough for this level,Revan and Dext, have something, but we need much more to stay up.
Many people used to moan about Ferguson and Harding, but if they were playing now,we would be in a better situation, right now we need seasoned defenders who know how to defend, forget attacking fullbacks,we simply need players who can stop the other team scoring.
Somehow, very quickly Richardson needs to these players, and new ones in January, playing a style and formation that gets some points without spending loads of money, sounds easy dunt it !
Put simply he has to get the very best out what we have got, every game,we can`t afford to carry 3 or 4 players, the rest aren`t good enough,so we need to be fittest, hardest working team in the league to have any chance of survival, and then we still need a whole lot of luck.
Get Kioso back,I`m sure he`s a decent fullback, and get some of the long injured out of the 25,it`s mad that Bola is on his playstation on match days.
I`m no expert, but my gut feeling is playing one up front isn`t going to save us,both Kelly and Nombe look a threat,so play those 2,or one with Hugill, could it be any worse ?
We desparately someone who will get us forward and threaten the opposition, again, remember how Wiles and Chieo did this to good effect,at the moment we no one who can do this, which is hopeless.
This season is free hit for LR,I just want us to go down fighting, which should be a given.
