In the last 2 out of 3 visits to Tesco supermarket at Wath-on-Dearne, I have seen security
follow people outside & asked them to return in store, citing goods not paid for in their
trolley, each time it was a different couple man / woman stopped.
One of the women stopped gave the security guard some right verbal.

Seen it myself, “ shopper” acts suspiciously, security has a word, shopper kicks off loudly thus attracting attention. Accomplices then fill their pockets and slip away.

Yes, as usual it's the honest folk who suffer and subsidise the rest. My friend who works in security at M&S tells me that theft is getting so bad that paying for stuff is almost optional.
