Good result - 8 points from the last 12 available against top side - that form means 92 points at the end of the season.
Thank god we won, one more goal and we would have been top, for one day.
Play like we did in the second half, against a side who didn't muster a single shot on goal apart from when they scored and we'll be on the same points score at seasons end.Quote:

We were, and have been, very lucky with teams who should have been sterner tests failing to turn up, and the kind of gifts that was our second goal tonight plus sime atrocious "attacking" play by opponents. It won't last.Quote:

Obviously a win is a good result but, yet again, we made things difficult. I have often thought that if we get a couple of goals early on then the confidence would flow and we would be rampant - apparently, this is not the case. Too many squandered chances again, Piroe anonymous and Rothwell's corners (yes, I know we scored from one against the blunts) were too predictable - 90% of them were plopped into the near post and easily cleared by the defender. No idea why we took Willy off as he was a consistent threat. Poor referee but only because my bet depended on them getting 20 booking points.
Now played everyone apart from Blackburn in the Championship top 8, so encouraging ..... another victory playing with a rookie centre forward and an immobile one in Piroe as seen tonight - cannot figure how to get the best out of him ........... James gave us more momentum but hes got competition so has to put a shift in ......... one of those typical Championship games that pop up littered with mistakes so glad its out of the way......... foot off the pedal allowed as we had to regroup so a decent night...... regardless, we are a top 3 placement team for me and with a consistent striker leading the line we would be an automatic....... more pros than cons as the 3 points came our way [again].
