I'm beginning to think more this way.

Exactly. It has to be said that the lad suffered a miserable time at Dortmund. Nothing worked for him there. He's experienced what it's like to not be happy and it not click for him.
He's played UCL football and won a Trophy in first two full seasons at the club. He's clearly in sync with the manager, who is never satisfied.
The squad won a trophy, all clearly have bought in to the managers philosophy.
Isak is no different. He's the focus of the team.
I just don't see Arsenal, a club that hasn't won anything for 7 odd yrs as a step up. Liverpool, ok, but, we've seen Nunez, who was dubbed to be world class completely fail, Andy Carroll fail and many many others flop at Liverpool.
With the club making it 100% clear no money can buy Isak and the player looking very very happy on Tyneside, I've stated time and time again that he's going no where!
I understand what you are saying about Liverpool Rags, but I feel they have peaked and will go a bit downhill from here.
I've heard from inside that there's a bit of discord, above management position and there are a good few contracts to sort out amongst ageing players, by the way this is nowhere near the turmoil at Manure, but never the less not good for the club.
Whereas we are on the up on a high with mainly a youngish squad, presently happy as to where we are at the moment but more importantly where we are going and the direction Eddie Howe, those working with him and those at the top, are taking us
Interesting that Pat, I've heard similiar.
I've also heard that some of the players linked, in swap deals for Isak - have been put out by those players agents, to just alert Newcastle that should interest be shown, it would be listened to.
....and seal the deal for me the grass isn't greener at the other potential suitor clubs currently.
Its is key that we get top 4 though and that ironically will be down to Isak himself, largely over the next 10 games.
The cup win was a watershed moment.
Youll never win anything playing for Newcastle??..!!!
I just don't think Liverpool is an attractive offer.
I know from my contacts here that Salah to Al Nasr is a done deal.
Trnt is out the door already. That's public.
So I guess your info is regarding VVD, he'll have plenty of option on a fee with his experience. Italy seems like a strong option at his time of his career.
I just don't see Isak going to another Prem club and we've picked the bones out of where else he can't go due to finances.
Isak is a Geordie!
Best part of that Liverpool team is the Midfield 3 and I'd not swap any of their 3 for Tonali, Bruno or Joelinton. I'd take Mac or Sob in a swap deal or to replace Longstaff but not a chance they get in our starting 11.
The rest... Nah.
Next season will be very interesting. With the world club championship disrupting the summer transfer window I do hope we can get business done swiftly and smoothly. I guess Mitchell will have had his marching orders from the 'Transfer Summit' they had at the hotel during the January with Big Yas.
Wheels will have been in motion since then. It would be a great statement of intent for the club to act fast, sign players early in the window and conclude the core business and sign the key players we need as soon as possible.
Let's see. 10 to go and a Champions League spot to secure first though.
Howay the lads!
