I stand corrected. He really did an excellent job. Let them play but kept in under control. Not card happy

Farke trying to hang on to a 1-0 lead was our undoing 2nd half. Our only outlet was the long ball to DCL which they dealt with comfortably.
Farke reverting back to type for me , don't get me wrong a decent point but all 3 were there for the taking.
Anyway , lets see if we can shove it up the Arse this weekend ( which Andy does to billy every weekend)

Completely Rev - subs made way too late by which time the momentum in the game had shifted.
Tanaka as was an example of players needing regular minutes to perform not the odd 5 or 10 here and there.
Stach looked knackered after 60 and he waited annothet 23 minutes to sub him.
Someone should be analysing and questioning that with Farke.
Very good point away but feel we let the 3 points slip from our grasp.
Not sure what Gnonto needs to do to get game time as he is a difference maker when he comes on.
I know I posted earlier in the thread but was really dissappointed in coach on this one and I really hope he learns from it.
I think it he subs at 60 minutes (which he has done in some games) we win that game. Stach, Aaronson, Gruev and even DCL were spent. They did great but just "knackered" as you like to say.
We had Tanaka, Gnonto, Nmenchek and the new loanee chomping to play. It's crazy not to send them out there with fresh legs!
He sometimes seems to want to stick rather than react to what is happening in the game - think he is quite cautious by nature.
Three things he didn?t really respond to last night.
Moyes changed tactics which caused us problems from the off in the second half.
Gruev and Stach got yellow cards within 3 minutes of each other and may have become more cautious as a result.
Stach was visibly tiring from 60 minutes and was slow in getting back to position compared to first half.
Sure Farke will say we were 1-0 up so why change but the changes at the end shifted momentum back to us so it?s the one clear weakness he has.
The other which is less concerning when we are winning and injury free is if players on the bench get few of any minutes then if we get injuries and they are needed they won?t be match ready.
To be fair to Farke since November he had been good but if he could just address some of the other issues he could become a very good manager/coach at this level.
agree with you Hop.
we do look very competitive. Playing a team at their home coming off a big win against Villa and dominated the first half.
I just really hope he learns from this. Use the tools you have on the bench and dictate the game. A lot of good coaches in the prem. You can't let them control the game. I personally think Moyes is a very, very good coach with the right team. Everton fits him well.
Really, I find Everton boring and always have been except in the eighties when they won a few cups.
