I disagree with Flour, Roly and have given what I think is a reasonable response. Note that I have done it without going Roly style and calling him names, accusing of him of being a multi or otherwise behaving like a mardy 7 yr old. You should watch and learn for a while.

It all sounds SO familiar but I've promised folk I won't go there. So for my good friends Casper and Wrinks I will resist my urge...I will go and do summat more worthwhile with my time than listen to you...

I don't buy into the idea that the BBQ relaxation is about Cummings. That is now old news beyond The Guardian and Mirror. I'd say it is more about giving people a bit of liberty and encouraging people to get used to the notion that things can and will have to return to something more resembling normality. Someone on the Schools Returning thread talked about Covid being eradicated. That isn't going to happen for years if not decades, if at all.

I have seen that article, Flour and don't disagree with the thrust of what is being said, but as I stated, the decisions that need to be made aren't just about medicine and aren't just about Covid. The lockdown is harming and killing people too.
